Rather later than predicted Google Street View has launched in the UK. I had previously predicted that it would launch late in 2008 but it appears the delay was due to the UK climate. The delay was due, in part, to Google’s need for sunny, or as sunny as possible, conditions for the images to come out properly. Sadly they haven't done Chichester yet but one a451er has found her Uncle working in his garden in Oxford. Finding people you know or people in embarrassing situations on Google Street View will no doubt be become a popular past time.
