Ooops! Not really malware - human error
It is good to see the boys and girls around at Google are human. On Saturday for about an hour some Web sites were being flagged up as having Malware. If you have never seen it before Google will flag up sites that are known to install malware or malicious software in the background. The explanation was that the 'URL of '/'was mistakenly checked in as a value to the file and '/' expands to all URLs'. Not sure I understand all that but they did fix it very quickly but not before my friend, Ed Texier saw it on his site www.oceansource.net was listed as malware and emailed me in a panic, or as panicked as a laid back windsurfer can be!
