Google Caffeine is Coming!

Back in August Google announce that there was going to be a major change in the search algorithm infrastructure and provided a sandbox page for users to try it out and comment on the results. This test period ended to toady with an announcement from Google as follows:
We appreciate all the feedback from people who searched on our Caffeine sandbox.
Based on the success we’ve seen, we believe Caffeine is ready for a larger audience. Soon we will activate Caffeine more widely, beginning with one data center. This sandbox is no longer necessary and has been retired, but we appreciate the testing and positive input that webmasters and publishers have given.
Google therefore has begun the process of rolling Caffeine out on a limited basis but you can be assured it will replace the existing search results in due course. As I mentioned in previous blogs it will be quicker, be better at the ‘long tail’ results and will give more relevance to Social Media sources such as Twitter, Facebook and Linked In. The clear message for Web site owners is concentrate on creating compelling content and leverage that content via the Social Media channels as much as possible
It has always been a chore for site owners to create content but if it can be spread even further to suitable Social Media platforms it will not only help your Web site on search engines because of fresh content but used again on Social Media to link back to your site.
