I can confirm the weather is appalling and the rain is pelting down. I was hoping to make amends for my poor team performance last year which got progressively slower over the three races. It showed a lack of intestinal fortitude but in these conditions my time will be badly effected by my water wings.
Despite being the slowest last year I have been asked back to the Team which I am now sponsoring. That may explain why I was asked back. Team sponsor involves buying the drinks at the pub after the run. They may end up waiting a while for me.
I should have bought some t-shirts with the a451 logo on them but failed in that one. I shall try to sort that one out for the next race.
