The HTC Touch Pro aka XDA Serra

My new phone, a XDA Serra has arrived! It is really a nice piece of kit. Also known as a HTC Touch Pro. I am actually writing this blog from it. The keyboard is amazingly easy to use, the Opera browser takes a while to get use to but I seem to be getting the hang of it and the speed is goood both on the GRPS and my Wi-Fi connections. There are few niggles like setting up my email which is a POP3. Microsoft Office is really set up to push a company into Microsoft Exchange so to do anything else works but not very elegantly. Also rather annoyingly the home page for the TouchFlo browser is Yahoo and I can't seem to change it. I suspect it is a deal between O2 and Yahoo. Trying to force your users to do something they would not choose to do is counter productive. Especially as how to make the changes were not covered in the handbook so I went on to the forums and I saw how annoyed others were with this and other features. I wonder if O2 monitors these blogs and takes the comments on board. It certainly is a cheap way of doing your customer researh.
